Verse 1: There's a place down in Alabama, with a story to be told, Where the soldiers fought so bravely, in the heat and in the cold, Fort Strother was the name, a fortress standing tall, Protecting our land, guarding one and all.

Chorus: Oh Fort Strother, you're a legend in your time, Your story lives on, through history and rhyme, We'll always remember, the valor you displayed, You're a true American hero, your debt can't be weighed.

Verse 2: From the Creek War to the Horseshoe Bend, You stood your ground, fought until the end, Your cannons boomed, your flag flew high, Your courage and strength will never die.

Chorus: Oh Fort Strother, you're a legend in your time, Your story lives on, through history and rhyme, We'll always remember, the valor you displayed, You're a true American hero, your debt can't be weighed.

Verse 3: Though you may be a memory, a piece of history past, Your legacy lives on, it will always last, So let's raise a glass, to Fort Strother tonight, And honor those who fought with all their might.

Chorus: Oh Fort Strother, you're a legend in your time, Your story lives on, through history and rhyme, We'll always remember, the valor you displayed, You're a true American hero, your debt can't be weighed.
